Right away as I used it, it started to write. I've had many pens that you need to 'get started' before they even have any ink out. I like knowing that I can have a pen thats primed and ready to go. Especially if someone asks to borrow a pen, I do not have to feel embarrassed I'll know that its reliable and trustworthy to work. Its sleek design with a comfortable grip. Its not too bulky so its pleasant to use. I love that it writes easily without skipping. I like that the color of the pen is bold and a rich color. It does not look faded when I use it, like some other brands. It retracts so no worries about it leaving a mess anywhere when you take it on the go. I would recommend these pens to everyone. Once you start using them, there is no comparison. The great part is these are affordable without diminishing the quality.

I've been using them mostly to write cards, journal, and label jars around the house. They work well on a variety of writing surfaces. Sometimes they need a little encouragement to get the ink flowing, but that's usually only the ones fresh out of the box.
