A must against humid bathrooms
Purchased a new home in 2018 and found out that the bathroom fans were Airking AS50 and only had a CFM of 50 which can only ventilate a room of 60 or so sq ft. Our bathrooms are bigger then that so we risked getting mold. Found these AS70 and found out they fit in the AS50 housing so no removal of the original set up. It was as simple as removing the fan vent cover, unpluging the original fan and unscrewing the one screw holding the fan plate to the housing. Total swap time of the AS50 to the AS70 took about 20 minutes. This comes with the fan plate which not all places sell it like that so that is a plus. They don't show a picture with the fan plate so it is a nice surprise. The other sellers just send the fan blade and motor which then requires you to swap the fan and motor to the one you already have. The AS70 is rated to effective ventilate rooms of a specificed size while the AS50 does not. The AS70 is marketed to ventilate rooms of 85 sq ft. Recommend this upgrade from the AS50 Air King. The AS70 is a economical bathroom fan. It is louder of some of the high end bathroom fans. If you want tk replace your current fan, I recommend doing your homework as removing and installing a completely new fan is not simple and any mismatching of sizing can cause a lot of work. Donate your old fans or use them in a creativr way. A makeshift fan box is an example.
