Not too tight or restricting
I was looking for a brace that was not too restrictive bc I felt my hand would begin tingling if too tight. I was trying to decide between a medium and a large. Im 5'3" and weigh more than 150 lbs so I opted for a medium. The strap hooks do have a small amout of adjustability. But if too loose, the hooks can come unhooked. It does the job I wanted which is keeping my wrist stable and not bending. My husband said it looked like robocop when I wear it so I would prefer a more softer natural beige color option for ladies. For treating carpal tunnel with ice and stabilization, this brace has helped better than wraparound or velcro options.
