The winch is well made and slides into the rear of the stock easily. Keep in mind, it is specifically made for the Carbon Express Crossbow line only. The crank arm is separate and is only attached when cocking the crossbow, but once complete the crank arm and winch store easily into the storage bag that comes in the package. The cocking process while using the winch is slow and methodic, but very safe. The hand cocking system is much faster and is easy to use for those who are strong and healthy with physical limitations. I bought this winch for my son to be able to load the crossbow and it allows him to overcome the strong cocking force required.
