ICOtec® GEN2 GC500 Programmable Predator Call

I was looking for something to replace the old caller with the wired speaker and poor battery life. I researched them all at the 200 dollar level and found this caller to one of the top for the price point. I would have been fine paying the average 199 seen at most places but for a second generation call with 200 prerecorded sounds all for 139 I could not pass this up. North Dakota offers large flat areas with sub zero temps and can be brutal on anything with batteries but it holds up well and I always carry extras. I have a small small spotting scope bipod attached to adjust the angle and raise it up 8 inches. 30% of the calls are pretty much useless but with free downloads who could ask for more and for those who complain about the speaker it has the jack to add another. My only complaint is that you cannot play 2 calls at once, for coyotes it would be nice to combine a pack of pups with a female howl or a rodent distress and some thrashing leaves. This call is worth the price and when compared to the other calls this was definitely the better choice.

I have 3 electronic callers now and this one is far better then the so called top line caller I have that set me back $399! The GC500 gets far better remote range and is much easier to use including adding sounds which are FREE. I am fortunate to be able to call coyotes any time of day or night all year round and this caller WORKS! I would highly recommend this caller to the novice and the hunter who goes out a few times a week. This is just an exceptional caller for the price! Very happy, thanks SG.
