Great for the car.

While driving, I prefer to wear these glasses over my transition spectacles. In the automobile, my transition spectacles are ineffective because the windshield obstructs the UV radiation required for their activation. These solar spectacles with oversights are the ideal solution (:

It works as promised, but...

These provide complete eye coverage and fit effortlessly over my spectacles; however, the arms detach too easily; you will almost certainly have to search the bottom of your purse for an arm. Additionally, blemishes are caused when the lenses are rubbed against the end points of the arms while the spectacles are folded up. Lenses constructed of plastic are extremely susceptible to scratching.
