great for pools without built in side wall skimmers. have to purchase a separate adapter call game 4560 pool adapter kit if you have the bestway flowclear 1500 gal hour pump with inch and a half screw on hose ends. you use the gasket that came with the skimmer to draw and outline to cut. you can have the water in the pool under your cutline without fesr of it busting out.
