Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend / Legend II / Platinum Ballast Float - Grey | LLA20G

The ballast float is a replacement part made by Pentair. It is a genuine OEM part for their Kreepy Krauly pressure side cleaner models. This means it is made from the same high-grade materials and can perform the same tasks without any drop-off in performance.

This ballast float was designed to provide balance to the cleaner which ensures that the cleaner can perform its tasks in cleaning up the surface of your pool. Without this float, the cleaner would not be able to climb the walls or steps and would be weighed down to the surface which would ultimately reduce the range and cleaning abilities.

This part is grey and sits atop the backside of the feed mast where it can provide the balance needed for the cleaner to perform. Great troubleshooting tip if the cleaner is weighed down or operating slower or abnormally could mean that the float is leaking or compromised. Normally this will fill it with water making it ineffective and needing to be replaced.
