Babish 10" Stainless Steel Tri-Ply Double Riveted Fry Pan in Silver

I had never had any stainless-steel frying pans of my own before. I grew up using my mom’s extra heavy-duty pots and pans, which I loved and still love. So when I saw this pan online at a pretty decent price, I jumped on it and ordered it. I would love to have an entire set, but thought I’d try out one piece first. Well…now I want the whole set! This pan is excellent quality, heavy stainless-steel. It is gorgeous! It makes me feel good to cook with this pan. It is definitely a different cooking experience from nonstick, lightweight pans, and for the better. I know I have a bit of a learning curve since this is so different, but I’m up for the challenge. I’ve used the pan once since it arrived 2 days ago, and I was very careful not to cook with too high of a temperature. I fried chicken in it, and even over medium heat, the chicken was crispy and juicy and perfect. The heat was perfectly distributed, and I didn’t find I had any hot or cool spots. I like the riveted handle, which will make transferring from stovetop to oven possible. Also loving that it’s dishwasher safe, but it’s so pretty, for now I’ll be hand washing this new little addition to my kitchen.
