This radio is perfect. I was looking for a simple radio for my mom, no bells, whistles or high tech digital. The sound is amazing, the reception crisp (with a soft green light that lights up as you zero in on a station. The wood box with the soft matte metal face looks very high end. My teenager thinks it's retro in a very cool way and I find it easier to use and of better sound quality than our current stereo system that was considerably more expensive.
