Durango Series marigold seeds are an adorable, compact, and vibrant addition to grow in any home or garden. Durango Series seeds grow hardy 10–12 inch bushy marigold mounds tidy enough for indoor gardening, yet robust enough to keep outside during the long summer months. Durango Series marigold seeds promise dazzling 2 inch anenome-like heads atop robust stalks certain to excite any garden, fresh cut arrangement, or bouquet. Durango Series marigolds are durable and easy to grow from seed, ideal for indoor containers and pots or for a charming border around the flower bed or walkway. Durango Series marigold is a hardy full sun performer and most commonly sown directly after the frost but, for earliest blooms, begin seeds 6–8 weeks indoors prior to the frost. Marigolds will take 7–21 days to germinate in full lighting. Tagetes patula, or more commonly known as French Marigold, is one of the most awarded, recognized, and cultivated flowers in the entire world. Tagetes patula is native to Mexico and Guatemala despite having the misleading name of French marigold. Marigold has been used for thousands of years by pre-Spanish civilizations in medicine, food, dyes, and ritual.

Durango variety of marigolds are the best.
Could not find Durango marigold plants, so I tried the seeds. Spread the on my prepared garden site, pressed in gently and watered. Sprouted quickly. Excellent germination rate. Transplanted them and watched them grow into huge sturdy plants that are thriving in my central Florida garden. Durango is an excellent choice over the smaller types. Love them. This is a good mix of colors, so pretty to see.
