Quincy, M.E. - Seasons 1 & 2 DVD NEW

I used to love to watch Quincy ME on tv. When I saw the dvd was available I purchased it for father's day.To say the least my fiancee was happy to receive it & our family enjoyed watching the shows on the hoilday. What I enjoyed about the dvd was to see how Quincy could figure out what caused victims demise in the end of each episode. I felt that he always prevailed in the end. Also it was nice to see Quincy use good forensic investigative tools to figure out what happened without the aid of computers.

Quincy is one of the all time greats. I remember watching it on an old TV using a makeshift antenna which provided snowy reception at best. It is so nice to have it on DVD with an HDTV and truly enjoy this show with a quality picture. I didn't remember any of the episodes not having the famous introduction with the "Q" coming in to outline the eyepiece of the microscope or with the scene of all the police rookies dropping like flies from the first episode. Of course the first couple or few episodes did not have this intro and these DVDs show them as original without the intro. As I said in my review of the DVD Set of Season 3, I would love to see them release seasons 4 thru 8 also.
