Rocky Men's 8" AlphaForce Duty Boots Coyote 12D (Medium)

Good boots that fit exactly like the rest of Rocky boots. These are described as a hot weather boot which is accurate however I do not consider them to be the best hot weather boot due to the padding of the boot. Which is subjective. However they do breath well. The large lugs of the out sole provide great traction in in snow, ice, mud, and wet grass. The lugs do however hold material and debris. Which is to be expected. However a couple of solid stomps remedies this. If you blouse your boots your blouses will be stretched more then other boots due to the padding. So keep that in mind if you have multiple pairs of boots. I have yet to have gotten any hot spots from wearing the boot. The price is half of that of any AR or AFI complaint boot with the exception of basic issue boots being $20 more then these ie 25% more then these. Are they the best boot? NO Are they good boots? YES Did I buy 3 pairs? ABSOLUTELY

Fit right out of the box, virtually no break-in, most comfortable boot I have ever bought. Super aggressive molded EVA/rubber outsole with super aggressive traction. I walk trails with my Chocolate Lab every day for hours through mud, weeds, etc., and it's no problem, and also snow the traction and comfort are just perfect. only one minor complaint=No bootstrap but still easy to get on, lace-up, no zippers for me. A real comfortable sturdy boot, will buy again.
