Does whatever a red-and-blue Ford GT can

I bought this Ford GT diecast off the shelf for 6.47 at the Scottsdale Walmart. The paint job is pretty cool, with the red parts having an almost mirror finish. But I'm still not exactly sure what tie-in exists between Spider-Man and this car other than the paint scheme. What I don't like about the model is that its scissor doors are a little janky and won't easily open more than just a few degrees upward. Otherwise, this is a decent little collectible.
