Product details
Be prepared with the First Alert Portable Weather Band Radio. This compact AM/FM weather radio features all the channels you need to be informed in the event of an emergency. The radio receives instant 24-hour weather and marine forecasts as well as weather alert information broadcast by NOAA on all 7 weather band frequencies. The weather alert feature sounds an alarm when an emergency broadcast is received. Also featured on this product is an AM/FM digital tuner with 20 presets (10AM + 10FM) and a multi-function back-lit LCD display with built-in clock. The unit includes a headphone jack, hand strap, and telescopic antenna. The radio operates on 120V AC power (adaptor included) or on battery power (3 x “AA” not included). NO More Analog Tuners!
This is just what I wanted. It replaces an analog radio - and the difference is night and day. With this I get station presets, and the tuning is precise and exact - no fiddling with the stupid tuning knob to get it right. The directions are clear and easy to understand and this is a very simple radio to operate. Of course, at this price, you won't get killer sound, but since all I listen to is talk and news I'm fine with that. Voices come over loud and clear. I highly recommended this product, especially at this great price. Merry Christmas to me!

Great Radio
I got one to replace one I had at work that fried! This one does everything and more than the one I had. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my wife for home. It is also a good thing to have in an emergency if the power goes out. Great product great price. I also like that if plugged into speakers it turns into to stereo. That is how I have it at work. Plus you have the option to plug in or batteries. My wife uses it as a portable. Mine at work stays on the desk. Walmart had the best price. Good job!
