These earrings looked very pretty at first, but the quality is extremely cheap. The first thing I noticed was that the back of the earring (behind the butterfly) is made of silver plastic, not metal. That immediately made them feel flimsy and low quality. Then I saw that one of the posts was already bent. They are advertised as sterling silver, but they definitely are not. Don't be fooled by the description. My daughter wore them for just three days, and when we took them out, the purple color had disappeared on parts. When I looked behind the butterfly, I noticed the “silver” you see behind the earring, which I initially thought was plastic, is just paint which colors the other side purple, which was already flaking off to reveal cheap plastic underneath. Total garbage — save your money and do not purchase these.
