Includes seed, 100% recycled mulch to keep the seeds moist during establishment, and fertilizer to help feed seedlings for up to 6 weeks for fast growth and thick results. This mix absorbs 3x its weight in water to keep the seeds moist. The fall and spring are the best times to use Scotts® PatchMaster® Lawn Repair Mix Southern Gold® Mix as seed germinates best anytime temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F. Water daily to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. With proper care, you'll start to see growth in as few as 7 days. Follow directions and get rid of your bare spots
This product is easy to use if you just follow the directions. You can loosen up the dirt in your bare spots, then spread the product. You need to moisten it and keep moist until seeds start to grow. Does not need a lot of water as the product absorbs 3x it's weight in water. You'll see first results in about a week. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product is easy and effective on bare spots
We have had rain for 4 days in a row 4 days ago I put out patch master for Southern lawns today is the 5th day and to my surprise I have grass. I am very surprised in this product it just can't get easier then this. You should just keep a bag around for those places that show up every summer. Worth Buying
If you have a desire to have a nice yard and/or lawn you should try this product. It if you follow the simple directions each bag has the desired amount of mulch, Seed, and Fertilizer to start quickly and fill those bare spots throughout your yard.
