Really like the brightness of these bulbs. I'm using them in my hallway and kitchen because these are the darkest areas in my house. If you're looking for soft light look elsewhere. It may take a bit to get used to the contrast from my previous bulbs, but I want to be able to see clearly and these do the trick.
