These flood lamps are amazing -- and -- I noticed a difference in the electric bill right away! Once the floods were delivered, I replaced all my can-lights both inside and outside then I couldn't wait to see them after dark. When I illuminated my rooms and the porch areas, I was so pleased! The lights are amazingly bright yet comforting because the color is so nice! Now, when I have to turn-on the porch lights to feed my dogs, the outside lights don't even influence the electric bill, and I find THAT a welcome influence on reducing my expenditures! The old flood lights used to raise my electric bill by three or four cents each morning and again in the evening, but now the cost is zero cents for the same amount of time-of-use. What a difference in lighting and energy savings!! And I LOVE the fact that they are DIMMABLE, which is such a joy when the time comes to look for something in the kitchen late-at-night, because having the ability to barely illuminate the area to see is truly magical!!
