Trokar Lancet Saltwater Circle Hook Platinum Black Non-Offset 7 Pack 9/0 TK4-9/0

I am meticulous about the fishing tackle I use. When I go cat fishing I enjoy the slower pace of fishing. I fish with two rods and have a rod pod to set the rods on. I also have alarms on my rods. I fish with Berkley glow sticks rods (7' medium action) with Penn 9 bait casting reels. I don't use clicker on reels because fish can feel resistance. I leave reel in free spool and use alarms. My set up is 2 oz. no roll sinker and 10 lb. braid leader with the Lazer Trokar circle hooks. Most of the fish I catch are 3-4 lbs. I have used other circle hooks but prefer Lazer Trokar hooks due to the point being able to penetrate and set itself. When using circle hooks I do not set the hook the fish hooks itself and always in the corner on it's mouth. Once alarm goes off I reel slack line and just keep tension on the fish as I reel in. These hooks are very effective for me! Only down side is the cost.
