When the Lonely Donkey is sold to a stranger amazing things happen. He is taken to a new town and introduced to the stranger's pregnant wife. How could the little donkey help this young couple? He soon found out. He was to help carry the young woman, Mary, to Bethlehem.

Shepherds came from the field to kneel before the baby. Kings traveled to bring gifts. Mary treasured all those things in her heart. As for Donkey, the encounter with the newborn baby changed his life forever.
