I was almost sold on this product...
I purchased this product in order to deter and repel my gopher infestation within my front yard. Upon installing the first one, the gophers responded with curiosity during the first two weeks of it being installed. There was a gopher mound right next to the stake within that time frame. Within a month, I noticed there was little gopher activity within the range of the stake, so I decided to purchase two more for my front yard. Shortly afterward, the gopher(s) became either accustomed to the stake or realized it was harmless. So they started coming out of their mounds and eat my roses and snapdragons! I was trying to avoid placing traps...I wasn't interested in exterminating these little guys, but they're leaving me with no other choice now. The product is questionable, I believe the gophers have adapted to the emitting sounds and continue with what they do best...to eat my plants!
