Basic swing

This swing is very basic. The screws that attach the arm brace to the armrest don't tighten flush with the wood, making a possible injury hazard when sitting or rising from the swing. We removed the screw and drilled a new hole on the top of the armrest into the armrest brace. It doesn't look as nice but it won't cause any injuries. The pre-drilled hole to attach the chain on the back of the swing is misaligned...it lines up with where the screw that attaches the 5 ft seat slat to the frame. You will need a power drill to create a new hole to accommodate the bolt for the chain. The swing will be fine for our purposes since it won't be used everyday.

cedar swing

One of the arm pieces were broken in half, we had to glue it to make it work. The wood was processed very rough and we had to sand all pieces so it wouldn't be sharp on the edges. It ended to be a days worth of work to make it happen.
