I was pleasantly surprised that it was delivered in a big box wrapped carefully in air filled packaging films, in perfect shape. No folding or dings. Also it was made of something soft more of quality fabric-ish material. (I've seen so many straw hats made of plastic or vinyl-like material sewn up with fishing lines.)The hat is deep and hugging my head well that I feel so well covered and stylish, aside from the physical coverage the brim provides.I just love this hat and will be purchasing more in different color.
