Dickies Mens 11" Relaxed Fit, Triple-Stitched Lightweight Duck Carpenter Shorts

I ordered these online because they were available in my size, 34 waist. I ordered one each color for a total of five pairs. Shipping and delivery were prompt, no problem there. The first pair that I tried on I could hardly squeeze into. So out of the five pair I was able to pull two pair on with no problem. The brown and light brown pair. The other three colors I could hardly fit into. I had a pair of the light brown carpenter shorts that were a heavier duck and that I had bought at a local store so long ago that I do not remember when. They lasted until this year, too many holes. I will call customer service and see about trading in the other three pair that do not fit me.

These are good work type shorts but I wear them whether I'm working or not. Years ago I used to wear the painters shorts but tired of only white for a color....so boring. I actually dyed several pairs different colors......after maybe 10 years my last pair were finally becoming too worn to wear so I started looking for a substitute and found these. My only complaints are the limit of colors and even at 11" are longer than I like. I end up having the wife cut them as short as she can, about 2". If the useless pocket wasn't there I'd cut another inch off. 7" to 8" is my preferred length.
