If you choose not to use the strap, you can place the body of it within a larger pocketbook, the possibilities for the use can change if you want to just use it within your larger purse. The strap makes it so nice to simply adjust by sliding the buckle to make it shorter or longer. I used it all ways and enjoy the look for my outfits that it fits by adjusting to the length you want. It is so classy and looked fantastic to go on a night out and have it across the body. I used it near the shores of R.I. And felt that the look of it was perfect, and I haven't even spoke about the durability and color! It is so durable, but the color is beautiful and perfect! This would be great to take on road trips, vacations, a day shopping or to stores. Basically it's the perfect addition to add to your lifestyle. I highly recommend and think it would make a great gift as well. I am very satisfied with it and the style and use.

This crossbody purse is so cute and dainty. It's a light gray color with gold details. The gold details are in the zipper, the fastener for the crossbody strap, and the strap adjuster. There is a main purse pocket that has a drivers license holder and a smaller front pocket that is a gold out card holder. There is gold lettering on the front of the small front pocket that says Pomelo Best. This is more like a clutch purse so can't hold much but will fit small items. My only suggestion is that it didn't have the card holder in the front pocket and was just an open space, others might appreciate that feature though.
