Wasn't really excited about the color or grid pattern in the cloth, but the ottoman seems very sturdy with real wooden block feet, not plastic or fake wood! Lid fits well, but doesn't really have the option to flip it over to become a nice mini table. It's flat, but not very attractive when flipped. Overall, it was well worth what I paid. I purchased one of the cheaper ottomans that comes folded flat and in less than a year it's already starting to break down. This sturdy one should last a long time and might even become a candidate for new upholstery someday if the fabric frays. It has good bones!
