Mitchell 308 Spinning Reel and Fishing Rod Combo

coast! Like fishing for trout in shallow water and my line gets stuck often, so finally one of these times my old rod broke. I was kinda glad cause it was real old. I read reviews about mitchell and decided to give it a try. Ain't I glad I bought it! My old rod was 7 ft and I was worried bt buying 6.6ft because I like casting far. Didnt know what to expect. First cast with the new mitchell rod , my hook went twice the distance then with the old rod and that's with the same 6 lb. Line and same weight splitter. I love my new mitchell rod and am so glad I bought it. Its light and it casts great. Bearings are smooth.

Got my start in fishing with these reels 300, 308, 408 and so on as a matter of fact I still have them and they still work well that's a stament in itself with all the new manufacturers to chose from most don't last or perform to expectations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
