I have purchased Gold and Silver coins from APMEX since 2013, I have many common and rare coins. They have delivered a quality product every time. The APMEX name alone has always completed any transaction without the need for any questions of authenticity, even outside the USA.
A big, impressive coin with good luster
I bought one of these for the first time a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice-looking and large coin it is, when you see it close up. Although its gold content of .9802 oz is only a very little above the .9675 oz. of a double eagle, this coin is noticeably larger. The luster is very brilliant. The premium is one of the lowest around. I would buy another, of the alternate Hungarian design next time, for variety.
Stunning
This coin dominates my collection. Its large diameter, yet not overly thin feels hefty in your hand. The guy on the face isn’t the prettiest man on the block, but the double headed dragon on the reverse kills! Love the writing in the rim. I collect coins from around the world, this is by far my favorite. I bought one, and as soon as i could afford it, i bought another. I will absolutely looking for more.
