Just what I was looking for.
Very happy with my purchase. The lamp is sturdy and well made. I have it on my nightstand and love that I can charge my stuff easily and turn off the light without having to reach underneath the lamp shade. If this is the style of lamp your looking for this is the lamp to buy.

Perfect bedside lamp
Just purchased 2 of these lamps for use on a nightstand. Love the on/off toggle, USB port and power plug on the base. I do wish I had the option of turning the lamp so those ports are on the back side of the lamp but the electrical cord is fixed to the back so that the lamp cannot be turned. Otherwise , it's perfect.

Works well
This lamp is a bit bigger than we expected, but it works well on a bed side table. It provides enough light so people on both sides of the bed can read easily. The added features of the plug in and usb are great for charging a computer or cell phone.
