Of course it doesn't work with an iPhone 8

This is not made for an iPhone don't buy it expecting it will a micro USB connector is primarily used in phones that run Android THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH APPLE PRODUCTS if you want a product that will work with an iPhone or Mac but it on the apple website

Doesn't work on IPhone8 in Mophie

This does not work on Iphone 8's connected through a Mophie battery pack. The Iphone doesn't see the connection and just plays through its speaker.
