I have a couple of small, square glass bottles (approx. 2 oz). I don't remember what was in the bottles originally, but they're the perfect size for storing fresh lemon and lime zest. The original glass lids on the bottles have a plastic "threaded" stopper that is difficult to clean. These cork stoppers are perfect for sealing the small bottles and storing in the refrig. The original glass stoppers caused condensation inside the bottles thereby causing my zests to lose freshness too soon. Note that real cork comes from trees and can vary greatly in density, hole patterns, etc. The stoppers I received are of average grade and quality, but I am very pleased with them overall.
