Bell Sports Quicklink 350 Bicycle Chain Repair Kit

I bought this because I needed the chain tool; I had no need for the extra links. The hole that the link-punching pin is threaded through is not straight, so when you're pressing the tip of the pin against the chain link, you're pressing at it from an angle. This makes getting the link in and out so much harder than it needs to be. I had to grip the tool with pliers to have enough leverage to turn it. On my fourth use, I was pushing back in a link that I had accidentally pushed out entirely. I got the end of the link back in, albeit crookedly, and since it's so hard to get it back in at all, I settled for this. The tip broke off because it couldn't handle the sideways force of being pressed at such an angle. If you don't put yourself in this situation, the tool will probably serve you for a while longer. On another chain where I kept the end of the link in the chain, it went alright. Not good or easy, but alright. Maybe just this particular one was like this. Probably not, since it's so cheap.

Good for one time usage the black part bent when trying to do the chain repair.
