Highwood Lehigh Garden Chair - Outdoor, Eco-friendly, Synthetic Wood

These chairs are great. Very well made, easy to assemble, and look very high quality. They're quite comfortable (I was worried they'd need cushions but they don't). They don't get as hot in the sun as my Polywood sofa in the same color. They do get warm but not so hot you can't sit on them. They're a nice height (I have elderly parents so low seat height doesn't work for me). They're not super deep seating but as expected for this type of chair. I'm 5'3” and I can sit in the chair with my knees bent/feet heels flat on chair. The fact that Highwood furniture is sustainable (using plastic that needs to be recycled) and partners with a program that employs differently abled people makes me feel very good about my choice to buy this furniture vs the teak I've always bought in the past.

I initially bought 2 of these chairs and bought 2 more and a table. They were super easy to assemble and are very sturdy and appear to be very durable (they are not going to be blown away by the wind--that's for sure). These take the place of less expensive metal sling chairs that rusted out. You get what you pay for. If you can't afford 2 of these at the start, try to buy 1 and then build up over time. You're better off in the long-term. I expect these chairs to last in the hot Florida sun and that they are recycled plastic is an environmental plus!
