Too long - need 1/2 sizes

I don't know why this other review said the shoe was too small. I am a true size 7 and am a regular SE customer. This shoe was very long on my foot. The arch was too far back towards my heel which made my foot slide forward. I had a good 5/8-3/4” of shoe sticking out behind my heel. I think a whole size down will be too small in the straps however. I've never worn smaller than a 7. Returning for a refund.
