They do sharpen your vision while wearing them

I was just curious to see if these glasses would allow you to see better with presbyopia (aging eyes). They do work to sharpen your vision but also limit your field of vision. So, it's not really safe to walk around wearing them but sitting still is fine. I doubt they can actually correct your vision over the long term but they are a fun novelty item.
