New design features include: Our proprietary tapered natural rubber components fit perfectly in the Polaris Lock and Ride system holes. The taper allows the fastener to be inserted and removed easily. The longer length insures the anchor will expand on the underside of the Lock and Ride holes for a more secure anchor point The ribbed design also holding power and adds another layer of stability to reduce the chance of the fastener coming out of the Lock and Ride system during use. We use a rubber compound that is unique to Boonie Powersports . Natural rubber is an outstanding product for this application and is very durable, stable and remains flexible in any weather conditions or temperature. The nylon topside washers are key to the ease of installation and removal. Nylon is naturally "slippery" and by using these washers, we can reduce the friction and amount of effort it takes to tighten and loosen our fasteners.
