An incredible value

Buy one (or two) of these sets, and you will have drill bits for a lifetime. No more spending $4 each at the hardware store, let alone the time and aggravation. What a deal!

Inexpensive drill set

These drills may be OK for an average homeowner, but definitely not good for a machine shop work. Most of them are straight, but some are not. All drills lack a back taper, which may be a problem with deep drilling in metal. All drills from 1/8" to 1/2" have a split point, but it is done improperly and needs to be redone. Smaller drills do not have a split point. The drill diameters are not exact, they vary by a few thousands of an inch. Drill angle varies from 124 to 134 degrees. It is fine for general work, but it is not 135 degrees as advertized. Finally the drills are not titanium coated. Instead they have a yellow coating, which resembles titanium nitride, which many reputable companies apply to their tools to increase cutting edge hardness and durability. These drills are not even close to top of the line tools, but they are worth $15 I paid for them. I can only recommend them to people who can do their own drill sharpening.
