Had a gamecube for my wife and myself, and ended up with a Wi when the first kids were of age to enjoy it (and so did I, let's be honest), and we still use some of those games and units. But we got this for a huge roadtrip, and it's been a great hit with our three youngest (5, 9, and 13). Our older two kids will play it now and then, party games and such, but it's not as much of a draw for them. The ability to dock it and display on a large TV, but then grab it and go in the car and not even skip a beat if you want, is just amazing.
