I owned a NuWave induction cooktop for over a year but it started having problems. Instead of purchasing another one, I bought a Hamilton Beach Induction Portable Cooktop. It has many addition features that the NuWave did not. The glass top is far better. The controls are better. The only thing that I did not like as well is that it only has eight temperature settings and no readout showing what temperature it is cooking at. Even though I am now use to cooking with it without a digital readout, I still would loved to see the temperature. This one is less expensive and in my opinion, better. I would recommend the Hamilton Beach over the NuWave. For the price, you can not beat it.
