Worked as described

Installed via a Win7 desktop to attach an HP 4100tn printer to home network to replace a failed Jetdirect card. The installation was faultless and took maybe 5 minutes total. Nice unit.

Excellent for old printers to LAN

I bought PM1115P2 to connect my old HP Laserjet 2100 to my home network. The instruction manual is easy to follow. I had no problem in getting the printer connected to LAN. Compared to the Linksys print server EPSX3 I previously had, the Sartech PM1115P2 is compact and simpler to install. My only wish is that StarTech also include instructions on how to make this printer working with AirPrint feature in Apple devices.
