Actually (and honestly) there won't be the chance to evaluate the Ethernet category 6a cables with TDR or other techniques, per "transmission line" theory. That's just: out laboratory primarily concentrates on "higher OSI layers" and isn't as well equipped for electronic evaluations. However, experience has shown that "hand crimped" cables have a way of inviting long term moisture corrosion (the crimps are anything but perfect), and it's a pleasure to have quality manufacturing from a reliable source, which gives me one less problem to worry about!
