This tree is easy to assemble with no fuss lighting. Base could be more sturdy. I secured mine with small wall anchor and string because I have cats and dogs and was worried about them pulling in down. I have it on a small table. The lights are symmetrical so if you want a more random look in colors, you'll have to arrange the branches to suit your taste. They are easy to do that with. It has a super bright and not so bright option. You can also turn the stem lights off and just enjoy fiber-optics for dimmer option. The control is at the bottom and the cord doesn't run through the center of the tree. All in all the perfect pink tree. I have been looking at them for years it was substantially less then list price in early Nov. I am glad I got this 6 footer. It's beautiful.
