The Harlem-based Atlas Records turned out a number of great sides during it's seven-year existence, in addition to being an integral part of the community and serving as a model for other black-owned labels like Motown. This set collects 10 Atlas favorites, including Foolish Dreams; It Wasn't a Lie; I Call to You Fitones; in My Lonely Room; Way to Go on Pretending Four Haven Knights; My Heart Tells Me; Yvonne Parakeets; Lenora Travelers; Love My Baby Revells Quartet, and Why Gypsies.
