Raskullz Eyepatch Pirate Bike Helmet, Child 5+ (50-54cm)

First things first, measure your child's head: this fit my almost-3 year old quite well. It's a tiny tiny bit loose and the straps have to be tightened all the way, but his giant dome won't fit inside of this helmet at the ages recommended in the description. He loves the way it feels, and it was a great part of his Halloween costume – although we plan to use it going forward for his scooter and tricycle. The red spikes are firm at the base so they are pretty sturdy, but the tips are very soft and flexible so they don't pose any kind of safety risk. There is soft padding inside of the helmet and the outside has great coverage, with good cut outs so it doesn't obstruct his vision or cover his ears. This super fun design bodes well for good helmet-use compliance as he gets older, I would definitely consider getting the next size up once he outgrows this one, since he loves how cool he looks in it!

This helmet was such a hit with my daycare kiddos . I will be buying more so we don't have to take turns with it as much. The kids look and feel cool with this design. Quality is great I've had this brand for 5 years and the helmets are still going strong just now replacing. Will definitely continue buying this brand. The spikes are soft but durable.
