Solid construction. I was a little concerned about the stability of the legs without any horizontal support, but the chairs are well designed and the legs attach securely. One of the chairs had some wobble because the legs didn't all touch the floor, but the adjustable feet took care of that when I dialed them in.

The chairs were great but they did not work in our office so my boss wanted me to return them . Customer service was more then accommodating and I even bought a few more sets that were fabric instead of leather which was the issue .
