I immediately noticed a more meaty sound to the engine as well as an increase in power. I'm retired and have had my F150 for 20 months and only have 13,000 miles on it so I don't drive a lot. I've only had the intake on a couple of weeks and love it. I reset my gas mileage upon installation and actually at this point have lost 1 mile per gallon. Anticipated gaining gas mileage. Perhaps that will happen in time since all my driving has been in town! Time will tell, I hope.

Easy to install after you get the tight rubber hoses on... All that means is that they wont come off!!! Great sound and performance is felt right away. Unfortunately no gas savings yet (my own fault) because I can't seem to stop hitting the peddle to the metal... Great kit and great overall piece.

I noticed the difference in power and fuel mileage instantly. It only took about 10 minutes to install. I love the sound it produces with throttle response. I've been using K&N since the 80's on our offroad trucks, and now I use them on all my vehicles.
