I have 99 Jetta 2.0L and always had the paper filter on it and it seemed to make my car a lot slower and when I got on the freeway my car could bearly hit 80mph but when I bought the K&N air filter my car just went crazy with a nice response on my MPG AND HP. K&N IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Product Testimony--I'm Impressed!!! Gentlemen-- All these years I thought the claims of increased performance using your air filters were bull. Boy, was I wrong! I installed a K&N air filter on my 98 VW Jetta GLS, and the difference was immediate! And after a day, the ECU adjusted for the increased air flow, and I got even more gains! Faster low end acceleration, quicker throttle response, and an extra 2 MPG on top of all that! Best money I ever spent on a filter, and worth every penny!
