The vivofit is a great way to quanitfy your data. I like that the red movement bar is a gentle nudge to get you moving. The vivofit also sets goals based on what you accomplished yesterday, so it doesn't force you to change your lifestyle drastically. It's all about small, changes that are maintainable. I also bought the Heart Rate Monitor which I've been using for a circuit-training bootcamp class. It shows me which heart rate zone I am in, so I know when I can reach inside of me for some more energy, or when I need to do a body hold or plank just to bring my heart rate down. The graphs are great to see your day to day fitness stats if you need to visualize data. The only problem I have is the Sleep graph has "movement" as the dependent variable, and it's just a wierd measure to quantify and interpret. What do the movement measurements really mean? It would be more useful to have something that tells you if you are achieveing REM sleep....but it's not that big of a deal. Also, it would be great to have a backlight so that you can see the time in the dark. Especially when you are going to bed and you want to turn the vivofit to SLEEP mode, but you have to turn on the light to do it.
