I really like this box cutter. I work in a freezer at Target and this box cutter helps me when I'm breaking down the pallets. I bought it for the hook-like blade in the handle of the cutter. It helps me cut the wrap very quickly. I rarely have to actually cut boxes with it. There's a little round part of the cutter that's used to punch-in tape at the top without using a blade so you don't accidentally cut merchandise inside. I evwn use it to pry open the tops. Very good box cutter for the price.

This is a very handy tool for safely opening boxes. Fot most jobs I don't even have to use the blade as there is a built in safe ripping style cutter for splitting sealing tape. I only use the blade if I want to remove the entire top of the box. the other feature I love is the built in, swing out, safety cutter for wrapping plastic wrap and straps. I love it for opening shrink wrapped cases of water bottles. You can safely cut the plastic wrap without having to worry about piercing a plastic bottle with an exposed blade. On the whole, this is a great little tool for the price.

Safety cutter review.

I love the box cutter. Didn't come with any extra blades though. Everywhere I look I have to buy like 100 of them. A couple or 3 extra blades would have been nice. A hundred will probably last the rest of my life. It takes a special blade with one notch.
